Nazareth has a very useful bus service that cover almost all parts of the city.

About 1 hour of driving.
Public transportation between Haifa and Nazareth is easy to use

  • Bus: Two local bus companies operate bus routes 331, 332 and 338 between the two cities, reffer to their websites for timetables:
    1. Nazaren Tours. Customer service telephone number: 1-599-559-559
    2. GB-Tours. Customer service telephone number: 04-6574261 OR 04-6570745
  • Taxi service: Look for the yellow transit taxis. They will often have a sign with same bus route number (331 and 332).
 

About 2 hours of driving.
Here are several options of transportation:

  • Bus (Egged): Line #823 travels between Tel-Aviv central station and Nazareth center both directions. Refer to Egged information center for times and fares.
  • Train (Israel Railways): You can take the train from Tel-Aviv all the way to Haifa (you may be asked to change trains on the way, listen to train operator instructions). From Haifa you can take a 1 hour bus or taxi to Nazareth.
  • Regular service taxi: If you are around the central bus station, look for Nazareth taxi line, it is a good option for a fast and not so expensive trip. The price to pay is fixed, and you travel with 6 to 8 more passengers in a Van.
  • Special service taxi: It will drive you directly from the Tel-Aviv to your hotel in Nazareth. Although it is the fastest way to travel, it is also the most expensive. Make sure you discuss the price with the driver at first.
 

About 2.5 hours of driving.
In the past there were 2 ways to travel between Jerusalem and Nazareth: one goes through the Jordan Valley (east), and another regular way is through Tel-Aviv district (west).
Today the eastern way is not often used due to security measures. So you'ld likely travel through Tel-Aviv. Here are several options of transportation:

  • Bus (Egged): Line #955 travels between Jerusalem central station and Nazareth center both directions. Refer to Egged information center for times and fares.
  • Special service taxi: It will drive you directly from Jerusalem to your hotel in Nazareth. Although it is the fastest way to travel, it is also the most expensive. Make sure you discuss the price with the driver at first.
 
The distance from Ben Gurion International Airport is about 2 hours of driving.
Transportation options are:
  • Bus (Egged): Via the new central bus station in Tel-Aviv. Check for bus routes 823 and 826.
  • Train (Israel Railways): Terminal 3 inside the airport has a train station. You can take the train from there all the way to Haifa (you may be asked to change trains on the way, listen to train operator instructions). From Haifa you can take a 1 hour bus or taxi to Nazareth.
  • Special taxi service from/to the airport. This is the fastest option but also the most expensive. Make sure you discuss the price with the driver at first.
